About Eileen

I believe meaningful change begins the moment we feel safe enough to tell ourselves the truth.

Not the version shaped by expectations, achievement, or fear.

The quieter truth that's been waiting beneath the noise.

That belief is at the heart of Spiral Way Hearth.

A Different Way of Seeing

I've always been drawn to patterns.

Growing up, I was raised between different ways of understanding the world.

My father saw the world through mathematics—patterns, precision, and systems. From him, I learned that beneath complexity there is often an underlying order waiting to be understood.

My mother was raised on a farm before becoming a music teacher. Through her, I learned to appreciate both the wisdom of nature's seasons and the power of creativity, expression, and human connection.

Together, they taught me something I wouldn't fully understand until much later: that life can be both beautifully structured and deeply expressive.

Over time, those ways of seeing came together in how I understand change. Beneath uncertainty there are rhythms. Beneath endings there are beginnings. Beneath our thinking there is often a quieter wisdom waiting to be heard.

That understanding eventually became the foundation of the Spiral Way.

Credentials & Experience

My work is shaped by both formal training and lived experience. I believe credibility is built not only through what we study, but through how we integrate what we learn into real life, real relationships, and real moments of deep change.

My background includes:

  • Certified Somatic Practitioner
Trained in trauma-aware, nervous-system–informed somatic facilitation, with an emphasis on safety, pacing, and embodied integration.

  • Psychedelic Integration Training
Completion of facilitator training with the Synthesis Institute, with a focus on ethical integration, meaning-making, and post-experience support.

  • Relational Leadership & Group Facilitation
Years of experience designing and facilitating learning experiences for individuals, groups, and organizations, centered on trust, communication, and human-centered change.

  • Education, Systems, & Change Work
Professional background spanning education, technology, and organizational development, including leadership development, program design, and systems-level thinking.

  • Ritual, Creative, & Nature-Based Practice
Ongoing study and practice in ritual design, seasonal living, creative expression, and earth-based frameworks that honor cycles, lineage, and embodiment.

Alongside these credentials, my work is deeply informed by personal passages of change; grief, identity shifts, creative rebirth, and the quiet unravelings that reshape a life from the inside out.

I continue to learn, study, and refine this practice because life keeps teaching.
The Spiral Way is not a static method; it is a living one.

The Spiral Way

The Spiral Way is the framework that informs much of my work.

Rather than seeing growth as a straight line, it recognizes that we move through recurring seasons of letting go, remembering, emerging, and integrating throughout our lives.

Understanding where we are within these natural cycles helps us meet change with greater patience, curiosity, and compassion.

The Spiral Way isn't about becoming someone new.

It's about remembering who we've been beneath the noise all along.

Why Spiral Way Hearth?

A hearth has long been a place where people gathered—for warmth, conversation, nourishment, and stories.

It wasn't a place where life stopped.

It was a place where people found what they needed before continuing their journey.

That's what I hope Spiral Way Hearth can be.

A place where people reconnect with themselves through embodied change, meaningful conversations, and compassionate witnessing.

A place where they remember that they already carry more wisdom than they realize.

If you're here, welcome.

I'm grateful our paths have crossed.
